Al-Mahasn Foundation and King Salman Center Launch Zakat Al-Fitr Distribution for 57,000 Families in Somalia

In line with its ongoing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable communities and enhancing food security in Somalia, Al-Mahasn Foundation for Development and Education, in partnership with King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, announces the implementation of the Zakat Al-Fitr Distribution Project for the year 1446 AH – 2025. This initiative is part of their continuous humanitarian efforts to support impoverished and displaced families in Somalia.

Through this project, a designated quantity of rice will be secured and distributed to support 57,000 impoverished and displaced families in various displacement camps within Banadir Region and South West State of Somalia. This project aligns with the ongoing efforts of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to provide comprehensive humanitarian assistance to the Somali people. The center implements multiple projects covering sectors such as food security, healthcare, education, and water, addressing the basic needs of the most vulnerable segments of society.

We express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for their generous support and continued partnership in implementing humanitarian projects. We reaffirm our ongoing commitment to providing assistance to those in need and strengthening effective partnerships to ensure a dignified life for all.

We urge all media outlets and relevant institutions to publish this statement to highlight these humanitarian efforts and encourage further support to achieve humanitarian and developmental goals.
